The Macon County Historical Society is a non-profit organization, which is dependent on outside sources of income to continue to collect, preserve and display the rich cultural history of Macon County.

The Society has opened a thrift store with all proceeds to benefit the museum. Please stop in to shop and donate your gently used items. Volunteers are always welcome. Call Steve at 828-524-9758 for details.
